ABC/ Craig Sjodin

Have you ever wondered what it would look like for Mick Jagger to show off his dance moves to a song about his dance moves? Well, wonder no more.

The Rolling Stones rocker shared a video on Instagram of him dancing wildly to a band performing the Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera track “Moves Like Jagger,” and it leaves him in a fit of laughter.

He captioned the clip, “Moves like who!”

Folks in the comments certainly seemed to enjoy the clip, although his son Lucas, whose mom is Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez, had some other thoughts, commenting, “Dadda WHO PUT U UP TO THis.”

Fans will soon get to see Jagger show off those moves onstage. The Rolling Stones are set to kick off their Hackney Diamonds tour on April 28 in Houston. A complete list of dates can be found at rollingstones.com.

Rod Stewart has had eight children with five women, but unlike many rock stars of his generation, he's got a relationship with all of them, and the majority of them have a relationship with each other, too.

In a new Instagram post, Rod is seen posing with his son Liam, 29, whose mother is his ex-wife Rachel Hunter. Also in the photo are Rod's two sons with his current wife, Penny Lancaster: Alastair, 18, and Aiden, 13.

"Proud as a Father could possibly be," the caption reads. He then goes on to offer congratulations to the Milton Keynes Lightning for winning England's National Ice Hockey League Cup. Liam is a forward for the Lightning; he's been with the team since 2019.

In addition to Alastair, Aiden and Liam, Rod is also the father of Sean, 43, and Kimberly, 44, with ex-wife Alana Stewart; daughter Ruby, 36, with ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg; Liam's sister Renee, 31; and Sarah, 59. When Rod was 18, he and his then-girlfriend Susannah Boffey put Sarah up for adoption, but he later reconnected with her when she was an adult.

Rod's latest album, Swing Fever, recently hit #1 in his native U.K. He's touring Europe starting in May, and in July, he'll return to the U.S. for the final dates of his residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

On This Day, March 27, 1979: Eric Clapton marries George Harrison’s ex Pattie Boyd

On This Day, March 27, 1979…

Eric Clapton married Pattie Boyd, ex-wife of his good friend, The Beatle's George Harrison, in Tucson, Arizona.

The two met while Clapton and Harrison were writing music together in the late ‘60s and Clapton fell in love with Boyd. Songs on the Derek and the Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, including the iconic track Layla, were inspired by his love for Boyd.

Boyd eventually left Harrison in 1974, and she and Clapton subsequently married, all the while remaining good friends with Harrison.

But Clapton and Boyd’s relationship had problems. The rocker was an alcoholic during their time together and he even admitted to abusing her and being unfaithful. Boyd left him in 1987, and they were divorced in 1989.

Earlier this month, Boyd auctioned off several personal items, including love letters written to her by Clapton. She made over $3.6 million from the auction.

The Boss & The Bear: Jeremy Allen White frontrunner to play Springsteen on screen

Disney/Randy Holmes

A planned movie about Bruce Springsteen’s effort to make the 1982 solo album Nebraska may have found the man to play The Boss.

Deadline was the first to report that The Bear star Jeremy Allen White is the frontrunner to play Springsteen in the movie Deliver Me From Nowhere, an adaptation of Warren Zanes' 2023 book about the making of the album.

Crazy Heart writer/director Scott Cooper is writing the film, with plans to direct, and shooting is expected to begin this fall in New Jersey.

Nebraska, released in September 30, 1982, featured 10 acoustic songs that Springsteen originally recorded as demos on a four-track recorder. Springsteen had planned to rerecord the songs with the E Street Band but instead opted to release it as a solo acoustic record.

Nebraska peaked at #3 on the Billboard chart, with its biggest hit being “Atlantic City,” which reached #10.

Some of the songs on the demo that didn’t make it on Nebraska were later rerecorded with the band and wound up on Springsteen’s multi-Platinum #1 record, Born in the U.S.A.

How photographer Danny Clinch got Bruce Springsteen to headline Sea.Hear.Now

courtesy of Sea.Hear.Now

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are set to play the Sea.Hear.Now festival in their old stomping grounds of Asbury Park, New Jersey, on September 15 and the festival’s creator, photographer Danny Clinch, is opening up to Rolling Stone about how it happened.

Springsteen made a surprise appearance at the festival in the past, but Clinch, who's photographed the rocker several times, says he set his sights on trying to get The Boss to headline this year after realizing Bruce's current tour ended on the East Coast right before the festival.

“So we’re like, ‘Oh man, this looks like a good opportunity to hit him up,’” Clinch shares. “And I happen to be over [at] his place. And I said, ‘Man, I was looking at your schedule, and we would love to have you at our Sea.Hear.Now show,’ and he’s like, ‘Yeah, that’d be cool.’"

Clinch adds, “Then later I was back in the studio, and he just turned to me at one point and he was like, ‘I’m gonna do the thing on the beach. I’m going to Sea.Hear.Now. I want to bring the band on the beach. This could be incredible.’”

With fellow New Jersey natives Trey Anastasio and The Gaslight Anthem playing just ahead of Bruce, Clinch is certainly hoping fans will get to see some fun collaborations.

“Yeah, I mean, it’s happened before. It is kind of a family block party in a sense right now, because Trey is from Princeton,” Clinch says. “He’s just like, ‘You gotta be kidding me. This is amazing.’”

Clinch adds, “And you know, Gaslight into Bruce — it’s insane. It’s a New Jersey dream right there.”

Sea.Hear.Now is going down September 14-15 on the beach in Asbury Park. Tickets are sold out. A complete lineup can be found at seahearnowfestival.com.

Family & friends share birthday wishes for Diana Ross as she turns 80

Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Academy Museum of Motion Pictures

Legendary singer Diana Ross turned 80 on Tuesday, March 26, and the milestone birthday was marked by well-wishes from family and friends on social media.

The singer’s daughter Tracee Ellis Ross celebrated her mom with a collage of photos on Instagram, writing, “Oh how I love you Mom. 80 incredible pictures of you in 80 seconds to celebrate your 80th birthday today.”

She also shared some facts about her mom that even she finds “staggering,” including that from 1976 to 1985 Ross “put out an album a year, did multiple tours, produced and starred in a variety of TV specials, shot Mahogany and The Wiz, produced her legendary 1983 Central Park concert with an estimated 800,000 attendees."

She adds, “Amidst shattering records, breaking glass ceilings, and setting a new bar for style and glamour, we, her children, were always her priority. As I often say, 'Diana Ross' the beloved global icon is legendary but she doesn’t hold a candle to my Mama.”

On her own Instagram page, Ross shared an archival performance of a song called “That’s Why I Call You My Friend,” calling it “a birthday love letter.” The performance prompted comments from several celebrities, including Andy Cohen, who wrote, “you are LOVED,” and Jody Watley, who added, “Happy Birthday Blessings.”

Ross also received birthday wishes from The Temptations, who called Ross "a wonderful woman and a very talented friend"; the band Foreigner, who shared video of a cover Ross did of their hit “I Want To Know What Love Is"; and Sister Sledge, who called her a "timeless legend" and "An absolute icon and trailblazer!"
