Benefit concert honoring our military and first responders.
The first annual “Hold the Line” Concert — honoring and benefiting law enforcement, military, firefighters, and other first responders. The event is a benefit concert with proceeds being used to send law enforcement officers to National Police Week in Washington D.C., to send children of slain officers to Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) Kids’ Retreat, and other monies will be donated to the Gary Sinise Foundation, which serves our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. They do this by creating and supporting unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities. During the event, we will be honoring all military and first responders for their bravery and dedication to our community and nation. The headline performance is by national recording artist Dave Bray – a United States Veteran. He served in the US Navy as an 8404 FMF Corpsman for the 2nd Battalion/2nd Marines, (Sniper PLT), stationed out of Camp Lejeune, NC. Dave, now a national touring musician, singer and songwriter, has dedicated his musical career to supporting U.S. Veterans, Active Duty Military, Fire, Police, and First Responders. He considers his music a continuation of his service and uses his powerful voice to honor our American Heroes. Joining Dave Bray, will be Louisiana’s own Spank the Monkey. Spank the Monkey has been playing its own brand of hard hitting rock & roll since 1995. Rising from the fog covered swamps of southern Louisiana, their on stage is unreal, and they command any stage they grace. From their originals such as “Sweet Daisy” and “Lies”, to the music of greats such as Stone Temple Pilots & Tool, they leave their audiences wanting more.
