Louisiana College will close its campus after Monday night classes. And, LSU Eunice will close its campus at 3 p.m. Tuesday and all Wednesday classes will also be canceled.

Avoyelles Parish public Schools will be closed Wednesday and Thursday. Friday will be determined at a later dated based on weather activity.

Concordia Parish Public Schools will be closed Wed. and Thurs. due to potential severe weather. School will re-open Friday, Aug. 31.

Evangeline Parish is open Tuesday. Schools will be closed Wednesday. Officials will announce any further closures on Thursday.

Blue Cliff College Alexandria Campus will be open Tuesday. The school will be closed Wednesday and Thursday. Classes are scheduled to resume on Friday.

Upper Iowa University at Alexandria will be closed beginning Tues. at 2:30pm and will reopen on Fri. morning at 8am.

In preparation for Tropical Storm Isaac, Tulane University will be closed on Tuesday, Aug. 28, and Wednesday, Aug. 29. All regularly scheduled classes will be held today until 5 p.m. Classes scheduled for after 5 p.m. are canceled.

"After 2 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday), those students living on campus will remain in their residence halls until the storm has passed," Tulane announced on Twitter on Monday.
